What it does

Tiny desktop companion

Animated pixel characters sit on the taskbar and react without taking over the screen.

Build scope

Character selection, scale controls, hover positioning, and preview-perched poses are included in this first public build.

Privacy

Local only

The app reads desktop hover state to place the overlay, but it does not sign in, sync, or upload your data anywhere.

Install guide

Download, install, and launch your tiny pixel pal.

This release is packaged as a setup executable so you can install it in a more familiar Windows flow.

  1. Download TaskbarPixelPalsSetup.exe and run it.
  2. Follow the installer once. A Start menu shortcut and uninstall entry will be created.
  3. Launch Taskbar Pixel Pals, open the settings window, and test how your character sits on the taskbar.
  • This MVP is currently Windows only.
  • An installer and richer release notes can follow after initial feedback.
  • If the app looks blocked, use Windows SmartScreen's more-info flow once.
  • Support and future updates will continue from the Firbe Labs release page.
